Meet The Team

Role:  SECM4 Program / Equipment Access,  Sample Prep, data assistance.

Manage and answer questions related to the SECM4 application process, for both ‘Rapid Access’ and permanent SECM4 users. Schedule time for users requesting Titan, Chameleon, and GP2 access, as well as sample preparation. Perform grid screening and assists in data collection setup. Perform data transfers to Globus for user access.

Role:  BSIR Facility Manager, Titan Operations, Training

Xiaofeng is the manager for the BSIR, home of the SECM4.  He oversees facility operations and manages the Titan.  He trains users for the Titan, data collection, and general data processing.

Role:  Director

Scott is the administrator for the SECM4 resource and the BSIR (Biological Science Imaging Resource) facility.

Role:  SECM4 Training, Data collection, Workflow Management

Dr. Bogdanović (known as 'Nash'),  holding a Ph.D. in protein biochemistry with postdoctoral expertise in membrane protein structural biology, is a cryo-EM specialist for the SECM4. He trains users in sample freezing using Vitrobot, GP2, and Chameleon, and provides guidance on efficient data collection and processing workflow management

Role:  BSIR Facility Technician, Fiscal Specialist, Equipment Training

Anthony is the BSIR technical and fiscal specialist.   He oversees user training of BSIR instruments, procedures, and equipment.  He manages scheduling, billing, general day to day operations and maintenance of the equipment.
