Services

Our Services

Vitrified grid screening

For this service, we will screen batches of grids to determine the ones that are high-enough quality to generate high-resolution reconstructions. We will take grids provided by users and collect enough images on each to evaluate particle distribution in holes and aggregation level.

High-resolution data collection

In this service, two-to-three-day data collection sessions will be performed exclusively on prescreened grids. Two-day sessions will be preferred because they generally produce enough data required to go to the highest resolution for most samples.

Sample preparation and screening

In this service, users who have demonstrated that their samples have a reasonable chance of success will ship the samples to the SECM4 for negative staining, freezing, and imaging. After the grids have been prepared, we will screen them as part of this service. We will collect enough images to evaluate particle distribution and aggregation level.
